At the teaching clinics of the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine, we provide high-quality, comprehensive clinical care tailored to an individual patient’s needs. Our clinical faculty, each having over 10 years of experience providing patient care, include well-known scholars, specialized clinicians, and researchers. Our committed students are trained in small class settings and complete extensive clinical training in a variety of approaches and techniques used in East Asian Medicine (EAM).

Patients are able to schedule appointments with either a faculty member or a student intern. To learn more about our faculty, please visit our Faculty page. Our teaching clinics have a rotating schedule that is subject to change each trimester. Please see our Clinic Schedule to see our current faculty and student intern shifts.

In order to address the needs of patients with varying constitutions and health complaints, we offer several low-cost specialty clinics that include acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Asian bodywork (tui na and shiatsu). Our patients are provided with a full range of personalized care that may include EAM nutritional recommendations, qi gong rehabilitation exercises, lifestyle counseling, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, etc.

SIEAM maintains clinics at its main campus in Seattle’s Georgetown and at satellite locations in the University District and in North Seattle. Our teaching clinics have a rotating schedule that is subject to change each trimester.
